This Privacy Policy applies to those customers who visit our website, subscribe to our newsletters and who choose to use our services to study at the foreign universities we represent.
Personal data is information that individually or in combination with other data can be used to identify you as a user as a physically living person. It can e.g. be your name, email address or phone number.
The reason why we process your personal data is because we at Blueberry will be able to fulfill commitments to you as a customer, but we also collect information about you who are not yet a customer but who want to be contacted by us.
By choosing to apply to one of the colleges, universities or special schools we represent, you give your consent for us to transfer the personal information we collect from you to the college/university/special school you are applying to.
As the person responsible for personal data, Blueberry is responsible for ensuring that your personal data is processed in a secure manner and that the GDPR is complied with. We do not process sensitive personal data unless there is specific consent to handle them.
Internally, we handle your personal information in our customer database. This system is there to be able to deliver the services you request from us and to be able to handle questions and customer care in connection with the performance of these services.

Blueberry protects your personal information through a combination of technical and organizational solutions. Access systems are required for access to Blueberry’s customer database that handles personal data. Blueberry employees must follow Blueberry’s internal information security policy.

Blueberry uses newsletters or emails to provide you who want to study abroad with information about new universities, offers of scholarships from our current university partners, changes in the outside world that may be relevant to you such as changes to visa rules, grading rules etc. We also inform about stories from former students who want to share their experiences. Blueberry also invites to information meetings where sometimes representatives from foreign universities also participate.
Newsletters and emails are only sent to those who have agreed to receive information from Blueberry.

Your rights
• You have the right to receive information about which personal data processing is done with us. We have collected these in the table personal data processing below. The table shows, among other things, purpose, legal basis and storage time.
• You have the right to once a year, through a written signed application, request an extract from the register where you can see what personal data processing we have about you.
• You have the right to request correction if we have errors registered about you.
• You have the right to be deleted under these conditions:
– The information is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected.
– If the information is saved with your consent and you revoke the consent.
– If the treatment is based on a balance of interests and there are no justified reasons that outweigh your interest.
– If the personal data has been processed illegally.
